Derek Chauvin sentenced to 20 years in prison

Former police officer Derek Chauvin has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for violating the rights of George Floyd.

Chauvin is already serving a state prison sentence of 22 years and the two sentences will run concurrently. He is now set to be moved to a federal prison.
